I am a scientist currently working at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a member of the Nevada Extreme Conditions Laboratory.

My background is in high pressure – high temperature experiments in the diamond anvil cell with a focus on the electronic, chemical, and vibrational properties of compounds spanning minerals, binary semiconductors, and ceramics, as well as the design of optical instruments to facilitate such experiments.

Most recently, I have studied metallisation in pyrite-type manganese disulphide, new compounds and structures of the radioactive element technetium, and phase and vibrational properties in tin.
