I am a researcher from the UK, currently working at Argonne National Laboratory as a member of HPCAT within the X-Ray Science Division.

My background is in high pressure – high temperature experiments in a diamond anvil cell, with a focus on the electronic and vibrational properties of compounds spanning minerals, binary semiconductors, and ceramics.

Most recently, I have studied anomalous conductivity in rutile-type structures resulting from pressure-induced defects, anion disordering of high-pressure tin dioxide, and a giant volume collapse in manganese disulphide.
