I am a physicist currently working at Argonne National Laboratory as a member of HPCAT.

My background is in high pressure – high temperature experiments in the diamond anvil cell with a focus on the electronic, chemical, and vibrational properties of compounds spanning minerals, binary semiconductors, and ceramics, as well as the design of optical instruments to facilitate such experiments.

Most recently, I have studied anomalous conductivity in rutile-type structures resulting from pressure-induced defects, anion disordering of high-pressure tin dioxide, and a giant volume collapse in manganese disulphide.
